I needed to remove the britney picture from the top of this page.
People were getting the wrong idea about this website :D:D
Some people did not even have enough trust in me (ahem haroon :P) to play this game. They thought there was really a naked britney on my website.
I mean come on!! this is not what this website is all about.
I just thought it would be funny to put this up. You know. I thought people had some personality. Just thought after all that exam a little laughter might do some good.
Anyway, i've been messing around with
smarty. Smarty is a template engine. What that means is basicly you make a template for your website. You use simple notations to represent some kind of data. When that page is accessed smarty will take that template and do a find and replace for those special notations and replace them with something meaningful. Its much more then that, but this explanation will suffice at this time.
I'm trying to make my new web portal StressedOutStudents. No the url doesn't exist yet. don't worry. it'll come alive very soon. I'm just trying to figure out how the backend will work. I've nailed down the style, which proved to be more difficult then the actual coding. But anyway, i'm no designer.

mate of mine used smarty to make his website. Back in the day when i was making this website. He has his source codes published in CVS. When i had a look at the source, it didn't really make much sense. I was looking at index.php and saying "Where the hell are the html code?". Time has passed and now i feel template is the smartest thing to use. It gives you the flexibility to create website which the design part is totally seperate from the programming part.
Nice, well anyway. I might redo this site with templates. If i'm bothered. I won't be changing the design though. I really like it. Its very mild on the eyes and easy to read.
One thing i need to add is a spell checker for the admin page. Maaan i need to check spelling. ssssooo many mistakes :D
